A huge Calvin Klein advertising poster, showing the supermodel topless and grabbing a shirtless man, has been put up opposite a mosque in the East Village district. Worshippers are upset by the image because under the Islamic law, Muslim men are not supposed to look at naked or scantily clad women except their wives. Meanwhile, Kate is reportedly planning to marry rocker Pete Doherty after he bought her a diamond engagement ring.

The couple were seen kissing recently. The recording of British music TV show Transmission and Kate was wearing a huge vintage diamond ring on her engagement finger. Friends of the supermodel have revealed the ring was a present given to her by junkie rocker Pete last week. They also said that when Kate attended Primal Scream singer Bobby Gillespie’s wedding two weeks ago she told them,
“It’s going to be me next.”

Lindsay Lohan has been banned from a Justin Timberlake concert because he doesn’t want her ruining his image. The SexyBack singer’s management have reportedly turned down Lohan’s request to be put on the VIP guest list for the Los Angeles showcase recently.

A source told Britain’s the Sun newspaper, “Justin’s concert will be packed with Holl-ywood A-listers and a lot of important names in the music business. The last thing his label want is Lindsay getting hammered and making a spectacle of herself. His people reckon any association with people like Lindsay are bad for his image and career.”

As well as VIP passes, the 20-year-old actress also reportedly requested a private audience with Timberlake, who will be performing tracks from his new album.

Paris Hilton is officially the most overrated celebrity in the world. The hotel heiress has made it into the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records, not for her business ventures, singing or acting, but because the public think she is famous for no apparent reason.

A spokesman for the world famous book revealed the 25-year-old beauty, who recently released her debit single Stars Are Blind, topped the poll after magazine readers voted for their least favourite and most overrated celebrity. Other stars to make the list reportedly include Britney Spears and actor Tom Cruise.

Tori Spelling invited dead people to her wedding. The actress and her fiancé Dean McDermott tied the knot on the Fijian island of Wakaya and rather than ask friends and family, invited three “angels” instead. Tori told Britain’s OK! magazine, “We performed a Fijian ritual of honouring the three angels who brought us together.”

Dean added, “I invited my deceased parents Doreen and David. I know for a fact that my mum and dad brought Tori into my life.” Tori wrote an invitation to her childhood nanny Margaret Lockett, who died in 2004. Once the invitations were ready, they were burnt in a camp fire. She said, “I dashed to the water’s edge and tossed my bouquet high into the sky and thanked our angels for bringing us together.”

Gwyneth Paltrow hates her cellulite. The 33-year-old actress, who has two children, two-year-old Apple and Moses, four months, with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, says she sympathises with new mothers who worry about their figures. She told Harper’s Bazaar magazine, “They should see the cellulite on my thighs right now.

It’s all lovely when you are pregnant, but when you are not pregnant and you haven’t been for a couple months and you are still carrying tons of extra weight and everything’s all hanging and sagging, you think, ‘How is this ever going to go back?’ But it does, if you do a lot of working out.”

Meanwhile, Gwyneth has vowed never to leave Britain. The Se7en star says she loves living in London and would never want to return to her native America. She said, “People think it’s strange that I want to live here. But London is where my husband lives and works. There are parks everywhere and lots of places to walk. It’s not has hectic as New York and not as vapid as Los Angeles.”

Gwyneth says that she even prefers her British friends to the ones back in the US, adding, “They’re intelligent and not looking over my shoulder at dinner to see if there’s anyone better in.”

Jennifer Aniston is helping Kate Hudson through her marriage split. The Break-Up actress, who was left devastated after her divorce from Troy star Brad Pitt, has promised to support Kate following her split from rocker Chris Robinson. The two stars bumped into each other at Los Angeles airport and Jennifer gave Kate a consoling hug, telling her to get in touch if she ever needed a chat.

A source said, “The actresses hugged as Kate broke down in tears. Jennifer offered her support as soon as she heard that Kate and Chris’ marriage was over.” The You, Me and Dupree actress announced, through her spokesperson, that her six-year marriage to the Black Crowes singer was over this week.

The 27-year-old actress, who has a two-year-old son Ryder Russell with Chris, recently admitted she didn’t believe in a “perfect marriage”. Kate said at the time, “I don’t like this idea of the perfect marriage. People can be in love madly and deeply and go through so much and still end up together. That’s what you hope for. No one should get married if they think it’s going to be a fairytale.”
